Shopping Scheme
Our young adults can provide a shopping scheme for residents of Pickering and Kirkbymoorside, who cannot access the local shops themselves.
Our young adults, with their support worker, will go shopping for residents at the local shops and deliver back to the home
This work is carried out as a way of improving independence skills and allows our young adults to give something back to the community. The service is currently provided on a Thursday and costs £2 on top of the shopping.
