Family Activities
Family Activities are at the core of RSF support and are a great way of bringing families together for friendship and mutual support. We run a wide range of social activities which are suitable for the whole family to attend, including siblings and grandparents. We offer a mixture of free and subsidised activities and aim to offer transport for those families who would not be able to attend otherwise.
Our Sessions Include:
Monthly swimming sessions in Pickering
Activity days, which include, kayaking, archery and climbing, all run in conjunction with a local outdoor activity provider
Picnics and BBQs at Dalby Forest
Day trips, for example, Beamish museum, Alnwick Gardens and ice skating

These sessions have proved to be one of the most popular things that RSf does, with up to 100 parents and children attending some of the events. Many lifelong friendships have been established and good advice based on personal experience is often passed on.
This programme is supported by Ryedale District Council’s Community Fund.
