Join us for an exhilarating weekend adventure as we embark on the ‘Summit & Soar’ charity challenge! This thrilling event combines the majestic ascent of Snowdon, followed by the breathtaking experience of riding ‘Velocity’—the world’s fastest zip line! 
 
• Climb Yr Wyddfa (Snowdon) the highest mountain in Wales (1,085m) 
• Full support from a qualified mountain leader 
• Soar at speeds of up to 100mph+ on ‘Velocity’ the world’s fastest zip line (optional!) 
• Help raise vital funds for Ryedale Special Families charity 
• Enjoy a weekend in the spectacular surroundings of Snowdonia! 

Itinerary 

DAY 1,  
Arrive Snowdonia – (Travelodge, Bangor) 
Make your own way to the accommodation by 8pm to meet the rest of the team. Car share to be organised. 
 
DAY 2,  
Summit Day! 
After a hearty breakfast we set out for the summit. Ahead is the famous Pyg track as it climbs steadily upwards past the glacial lakes. After celebrating at the summit, we will descend via the Miners track, then head back to our accommodation. In the evening there’ll be chance to celebrate your achievement over an evening meal with the rest of the group. 
 
DAY 3,  
‘Velocity’ Zip Line 
After a leisurely breakfast we will head off to the stunning Penrhyn Quarry to take on the fastest zip line in the world with speeds around 100mph.

The cost includes 2 nights’ accommodation, based on 2 people sharing a room, one ticket to ride ‘Velocity’ zip line, as well as contribution towards the hire of a professional guide. Food and travel not included. 
*N.B. The Velocity Zip Wire experience is optional and the price reduces for anyone not participating.

A full kit list will be issued prior to departure and participants will be asked to complete a medical disclaimer and advise on any medical condition.
