We provide Sessional workers who care for a child
with disabilities or special needs on a one to one basis. These are
generally for short periods, 2-4 hours. This service is offered to give
parents and carers valuable respite time. This service is flexible and
designed to suit the family needs. Sessional workers can take children
out to activities in the community or spend time at 121 Town Street.
They can also care for a child within the home whilst the parents go
out. Ryedale Special Families is a registered service provider and is contracted by Social Services. We also have funding for our own independent provision for those children who do not meet statutory criteria. We are registered with the Commission for Social Care Inspection to provide domiciliary care and are inspected annually. There may be a charge made for this service, therefore, please contact Ryedale Special Families for more details of this service.
