Table of Contents Who can we help? We offer support to families of
children and young people with special needs, disabilities or illness.
This includes parents, carers, grandparents, siblings and the child or
young person themselves. What disabilities do you cover? All disabilities and special needs including physical disabilities and learning disabilities. What ages do you cater for? From birth to 23 years of age. What area do you cover? Principally Ryedale, North Yorkshire, England. We may be able to offer limited support to families outside this area, including York, Selby, Scarborough, Whitby, Bridlington and Thirsk. To find out more on this matter please contact us. How does a family get referred to your organisation? We are happy to take self-referrals, referrals from other parents or carers and referrals from organisations. We have no formal system, just contact us direct, but please check what areas we cover first. Do families pay for respite care? Some families can receive respite care paid for by Social Services. If you live within our geographical area, you may also be able to pay for care directly. Please contact us for more information. Do you give grants to help families? No, but we may be able to help find other funds which can help in this way
